Ballard Memorial High School is located in Barlow in Ballard County in far western Kentucky. The school was formed through consolidation of smaller community schools in the county and serves students from across the rural Mississippi River floodplain region. The Ballard Memorial Bombers boys basketball team represents the county in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and reflects the strong community support typical of rural western Kentucky athletics.
