About Berea

Berea Community High School is located in Berea in Madison County, Kentucky. The school opened in 1911 and serves the Berea Independent School district. Berea is a historic arts and college town known for Berea College and its role in Appalachian culture. The Berea Pirates boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents one of the smaller independent school districts in the state.
