Bowling Green College operated in Bowling Green in Warren County, Kentucky during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The institution was part of the early educational history of the city prior to the establishment and growth of Western Kentucky University. Athletic competition during the era sometimes included basketball contests involving collegiate and preparatory teams. The college eventually closed as educational institutions in the region consolidated and expanded.
