About Breckinridge County

Breckinridge County High School is located near Harned in Breckinridge County in north-central Kentucky. The school opened in 1955 following consolidation of several smaller high schools throughout the county. Serving students from communities across the rural Ohio River region, the Fighting Tigers boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents a county where school athletics are an important part of local identity.
