About Buckhorn

Buckhorn High School is located in the community of Buckhorn in Perry County in eastern Kentucky. The school opened in 1907 and has served generations of students from the mountainous Appalachian region. The Buckhorn Wildcats boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents a small rural community where high school athletics remain an important part of local culture.
