About Daviess County

Daviess County High School is located in Owensboro in Daviess County in western Kentucky along the Ohio River. The school opened in 1967 following consolidation of several smaller county high schools. The Daviess County Panthers boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents one of the major public school athletic programs in the Owensboro metropolitan area.
