About Estill County

Estill County High School is located in Irvine in Estill County in eastern Kentucky along the Kentucky River. The school opened in 1962 when Estill County consolidated its smaller high schools. The Estill County Engineers boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents a community historically connected to the railroad and timber industries.
