Explore Kentucky high school basketball teams
Harlan County High School is located in Baxter in Harlan County in southeastern Kentucky. The school opened in 2008 when the Harlan County School District consolidated several high schools including Evarts, Cumberland, and James A. Cawood. The Harlan County Black Bears boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents communities throughout the Appalachian county.
