About LaRue County

LaRue County High School is located in Hodgenville in Larue County in central Kentucky. The school opened in 1972 following consolidation of smaller community schools in the county. Hodgenville is known as the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln. The LaRue County Hawks boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents communities throughout the county.
