Lewis County High School is located in Vanceburg in Lewis County in northeastern Kentucky along the Ohio River. The school opened in 1966 following consolidation of smaller community high schools throughout the county. The Lewis County Lions boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the rural communities of the county.
