Magoffin County High School is located in Salyersville in Magoffin County, Kentucky. The school opened in 1963 following consolidation of several smaller community high schools throughout the county. The Magoffin County Hornets boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the rural Appalachian communities of the county.
