About Meade County

Meade County High School is located in Brandenburg in Meade County, Kentucky along the Ohio River. The school opened in 1959 when the county consolidated its smaller high schools into a single countywide institution. The Meade County Green Waves boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents communities throughout the county including Brandenburg, Muldraugh, and Ekron.
