About Monroe County

Monroe County High School is located in Tompkinsville in Monroe County, Kentucky near the Tennessee border. The school opened in 1964 following consolidation of several community high schools in the county. The Monroe County Falcons boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the agricultural communities of south-central Kentucky.
