About Montgomery County

Montgomery County High School is located in Mt. Sterling in Montgomery County, Kentucky. The school opened in 1964 after the consolidation of several smaller community high schools in the county, including Mt. Sterling High School. The Montgomery County Indians boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the communities of Mt. Sterling and the surrounding Bluegrass region.
