About Oldham County

Oldham County High School is located in Buckner in Oldham County, Kentucky northeast of Louisville. The school opened in 1953 as the county's primary high school before the district expanded to include additional schools as population growth increased in the Louisville suburbs. The Oldham County Colonels boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents communities throughout the rapidly growing county.
