About Prestonsburg

Prestonsburg High School is located in Prestonsburg in Floyd County, Kentucky and is part of the Prestonsburg Independent School District. The school serves the county seat and surrounding Appalachian communities. The Prestonsburg Blackcats boys basketball program competes in the KHSAA and represents one of the prominent small-school programs in eastern Kentucky.
