About Russell

Russell High School is located in Russell in Greenup County, Kentucky along the Ohio River and is part of the Russell Independent School District. The school has served the city of Russell and surrounding communities for decades. The Russell Red Devils boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and is part of the long-standing athletic rivalry tradition in northeastern Kentucky.
