About Sayre

The Sayre School is a private college-preparatory school located in Lexington in Fayette County, Kentucky. Founded in 1854, Sayre is one of the oldest private schools in the state and has long fielded athletic teams known as the Spartans. The Sayre boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the independent school community in the Lexington area.
