About Shawnee

Shawnee High School is located in Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky and opened in 1928. The school is located in the historic Shawnee neighborhood along the Ohio River and has long fielded athletic teams known as the Golden Eagles. Shawnee's boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association representing the west Louisville community.
