Union High School historically served the community of Union in Boone County, Kentucky in the northern Kentucky region near Cincinnati. The school fielded athletic teams including boys basketball during the early twentieth century before Boone County consolidated its schools as the population of the region grew. Students from the Union area later attended county high schools such as Boone County High School and later schools like Ryle and Cooper following district expansion.
