About Valley

Valley High School is located in Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky and opened in 1970 as part of Jefferson County Public Schools. The school serves the southwestern portion of Louisville and surrounding suburban communities. The Valley Vikings boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the PRP Valley area of Jefferson County.
