About Scott County

Scott County High School is located in Georgetown in Scott County, Kentucky north of Lexington in the Bluegrass region. The school opened in 1955 following consolidation of several community schools in the county. The Scott County Cardinals boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the rapidly growing Georgetown community.
